At my husbands new job he gets paid on the first and the fifteenth which will take some getting used to, for almost the past nine years we have been paid every other Friday.
Last month we didn't really follow our budget very well with out-of-town guests here for three weeks and then moving. This month we are trying to get back on track! Here is our budget for April:
Rent $899
Renter's Insurance $25.23
Groceries $300
Restaurants $150
Car Payment $368.40
Gas and Oil $300
Car Insurance $ 81.50
Kids Clothing $30
Prescriptions $65
Dentist $60
Miscellaneous $50
Kids Allowance $8
Gifts $200 (My sister's wedding showers & birthday, and our daughter's birthday)
Hair Care $20
Blow Money $40 (For my husband, he really struggles not being able to get his food/drink fixes)
Cleaning Supplies $50
Toiletries $100
Vacation $150 (Trip to Texas for my sister's wedding shower)
Electricity $75
Water $75
Gas $131.95
Cell Phone $98
Land Line & Internet $85
Trash $9.50
Cable $86.99
Visa $868 (BIG payment to the debt snowball while we are living on this cheap rent!)
Store Card $9.95 (This is stupid, we paid this card off over the phone last month and they put this charge on our card rather than including it in the amount we paid with our checking account)
Student Loan $241.45

looks good! how are the kids adjusting to the move? hopefully dd is still young enough to have not made too many friends to leave behind.
that does suck about your fee that you have to pay this month (with the card being paid off!) companies aren't too bright are they?
good luck with your budget! i know sticking to it can be tough!
This was the 7th move for our oldest, and she is only 4, so she is used to it by now. She actually thinks it is fun. :) The only thing she was sad about was having to be pulled out of her ballet/tap class and not being able to participate in the upcoming recital. It was a bummer, but something that couldn't be helped. The baby is doing well, but has had some trouble sleeping through the night since the move. I hope she settles in soon. The bad part about it is that the townhouse is just a temporary solution until we can find a more permanent rent house. :(
Hey there! Just stumbled upon youru blog while trying to find out if Winco takes cupons. :) I'm also a PF blogger from the great PNW. I'm at www.pennywisefamily.blogspot.com. good luck in the babysteps. We're in #2 also. Hang in there. Soon, you'll be living like nobody else!
