Wordpress Frustrations

My husband and I have been working on putting together a photography blog, kind of like an online portfolio for me. Well, really my husband has been doing all the work and I have been trying to make decisions on backgrounds, colors, logos, fonts, etc. He convinced me to use Wordpress for my photography blog, which I know nothing about, and I feel completely lost. I can't figure out how to do anything, and today when I messed around on it for an hour I somehow deleted half the sidebar categories and my husband now has to redo all the work we had done so far. Sigh.

I am working really hard on trying to get my name out there on networking sites. I have created Twitter, Facebook and Cafemom accounts to promote my business, but all that is for nothing if I don't have an online portfolio to point people to. I REALLY want to make a go at this, today just wasn't my day to be productive I guess. One day soon I would like to actually be making money as a photographer, and with that increasing our debt snowball payments and reaching our financial goals a little faster. Anyone need their portraits taken?
