As we are unpacking and setting up house here in our new place I have been setting aside stuff that we no longer need/want, or don't use, to sell in a garage sale. I have finally gotten the date settled with my sister-in-law who is letting me do it at her house (she lives on a very busy main street, great for garage sales). Today I spent a lot of time going through boxes and putting price tags on garage sale items. I hope we do really well because ALL the money we make will be going straight towards our debt snowball! I will post on this again later and let you know how much we end up making.

Good job putting stuff aside while you were already going through it to pack! I have almost a quarter of my garage filled with yard sale items so far...trying to find the time to go through the rest of the house for more stuff and also clean up/price all the items in the garage! Good luck on your sale!

Thanks! I put an ad in the little local paper today, and I need to make some nice big signs to put out the day of the garage sale. I am hoping to make a decent amount!
