I'm guessing that I did not let it rise long enough. I've only just been making bread lately because of a silly plan to become an expert baker this year. I can't believe how well these loaves of sourdough turned out but after 5 loaves of bread this month I'm really starting to get the hang of it. Not sure what happened with it, but I have been scared to try again after 10+ years. It makes me feel very un-girly that I love working with my hands and getting filthy. This is a good compromise, baking bread like a good house wife (hehe) while getting my hands dirty :D rivulethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11352395562904461909noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5375475720350356941.post-24906143588482796202015-01-18T15:22:51.816-05:002015-01-18T15:22:51.816-05:00OMG - that bread looks absolutely perfect!!! I volunteer in a first grade classroom and the only stipulation I have is I will NOT do glitter :)

The closest I've come to homemade bread is in the bread maker my daughter got me a couple Christmases ago - again, I'm IMPRESSED!!!

Sue :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
