I genuinely have like six or seven different blog posts swirling around in my head but they all seem incomplete so I leave you with only this:
Rhubarb cordial use #1
Swirled over top of plain yogurt (with some berries if you wish)
I always try and have organic plain yogurt in the house. I was making little Abe and myself a dessert yogurt this evening: strawberries, raspberries, plain yogurt and chocolate syrup. I left the chocolate syrup off of mine and swirled in some rhubarb cordial instead (just out of curiosity). I'm glad to report that it was very scrumptious.
You inspired me! I made a sort of rhubarb cordial, I just boiled the rhubarb with lots of water, no sugar, and I've been drinking the "juice" (diluted with some water) for two days now! :)
ReplyDeleteYAY! I hope you're enjoying it and not just powering through because you made it. Now that you've reported back I think I'll try making another batch with half the sugar.
DeleteDon't you LOVE when something new works out? Hubby made homemade pizza last night and had it all ready to go in the oven when we FINALLY realized....WE HAVE NO OVEN....ours died about 2 weeks ago and replacements are about $3000, so we are waiting until we save up the money. What to do....what to do.....we cooked the pizza on the grill and it turned out really well - crispy crust, which I like, kind of tasted like naan bread, which I also like.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I'm so glad you thought of the grill and didn't just throw in the the towel on the pizza. I haven't done pizza on the grill before but I've heard of it. SOOOO glad it turned out great for you guys.
