While I had set a budget of $448 for the month, was trying really hard to stay within that, and thought I had, I'm pretty terrible with math and somewhere along the way missed something. I'm actually $2.41 over budget. The math doesn't lie so I'm over budget in reality but as far as I'm concerned I made budget this month. (I know, cheater cheater; I don't care. I'm extremely happy with where I landed).
Mission accomplished in May!

You are crushing it, girl! Nice work. Tons of no spend days, and you achieved your goal. Woohoo! Love the photo of the difference in plants. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks!!!
DeleteFantastic! I wish I did as well as you do!
ReplyDeleteNow the real challenge begins. I usual have a high spending month after a low spending month BUT if I want to keep the average daily spending down that is not going to fly.
DeleteImpressive figures. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThank-you :)
DeleteI can't believe your strawberries - they look so good!!! Mine don't look so good....I think the 100 degree weather is frying them :(
ReplyDeleteThese strawberries surprise me each year, um, and Oh my goodness I can't believe you're enduring 100 degree heat. That's wretched!!! We have nice warm summers (and they are generally SUPER humid which makes the heat much more unbearable) but we hardly ever come close to that. Maybe you do need another cross country trip this year.
DeleteGot a room ready? :)
ReplyDeleteHaha! Not even close. My house is a mess! We do have a spare bed though. I think you would love the weather here, especially if you really do love the cold like you say. Our winters can be brutal :)
