Road trip to Tennessee last weekend.
Strange stressful week of work behind me.
I need to rest and relax this weekend but I don't just want to be lazy.
How do you rest and relax without being lazy?
Spending rundown today: I spent $8.69 on groceries.
My budget for the month is $436 which leaves $370.92.
Average daily spending for 2015: $18.28
I block out the day a bit. I usually allow myself a slow Saturday morning then about 10:30 or 11:00, do some power work until lunch time-usually a late lunch. I might then read, go for a walk, nap, whatever strikes my need and feeling, and then do another "power" activity later afternoon-a few more loads of laundry or another chore. I feel like days off are meant to rejuvenate a bit, which is why I am trying to do more during the week.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of blocking out each day. Rest, do something productive, rest, repeat. That's a good answer :)
DeleteIt's not being lazy, it is called RECHARGING!!!! Otherwise, how could you handle the week to come???
ReplyDeleteI've stopped worrying about being lazy and just accept tha I am! I do lots of things - but nearly as many as you - but if I want to just relax I do.
ReplyDeleteAnd I seem to think you have brought your average daily spend down a little bit more. Why not relax and enjoy that?
