Debt Quote Tuesday

It matters less how much more you make than what you do with what you already have.

Spending rundown today: $0. NO SPEND day 59 for the year.

My budget for the month is $436 which leaves $279.78.

Average daily spending for 2015: $18.28

Watermelon update, because Sue asked.
This is about four days growth.

  1. You are doing a great job!!

I like that quote - I really believe it IS what you do with it more than what you make. When we were both working full-time we spent money like we both worked full-time and didn't save a dime...now that I am not working we are able to more than make it on Ted's paycheck AND save money - WHAT WERE WE THINKING????? Oh, if I could go back 20 years......

    1. Yep. I hear ya! We have a lot of debt and a lot of our income goes to debt payoff/ payback but I'm trying constantly to try and not think of us as broke or poor but exactly like the quote, "what can we do with what we do have?" I like this one too.

I can't really explain how excited I am about it.
Seeing it go down really makes me giddy!

    1. I think it's actually only three days but I could hardly believe that myself so I just added a day. No, ALL I've given them is water. I put a few coffee grounds on the dirt every once in a while but again, that is the only one that is actually growing. So we'll see :)
      hopeful!
